ABOUT CLAUDIA POLESE
Born and living in Rome, she has been always attracted by figurative art and drawn towards the paintings and drawings of the great masters of the past, taking advantage of the huge cultural heritage of her city.
However, she enrolled for the first time in a drawing course only after University, where she graduated in Conservation Science for Cultural Heritage and completed a PhD in Material and Chemical Engineering; until then, she had been mainly an amateur, self-taught artist.
She attended life-drawing and painting courses at Scuola Romana dei Fumetti and, in particular, Arts in Rome.
Her first passion was drawing, but she has then been focusing on oil painting as well. Her interests are mainly focused on portrait and still life painting.
